Created in 1993, Éditions Racine has in the space of just a few years won for itself a leading position in Belgium’s French-speaking publishing industry. It publishes around sixty books a year and now has some 800 titles to its credit. With a primary focus on opening up and promoting our cultural heritage, the Éditions Racine catalogue falls into two main areas: "quality books" – architecture and heritage, art and decorative arts, history and regions, photography, gastronomy, nature and gardens, tourism – and "general literature" – history, news, society, politics, economics, spirituality, regional literature ...
Éditions Racine also publishes, in collaboration with its parent company Lannoo, various titles in Belgium's two main national languages (also multi-lingual editions including English) covering various aspects of Belgian national life (e.g. exhibition catalogues, memoirs of former Prime ministers, ...).
